With our wide variety of Lake Mead boat rentals, you and your family will have a great day on the water. Whether you want to ski, tube, cruise, fish, swim or just take in the sights, you will find what you need at Las Vegas Boat Harbor.

The marina is a short boat ride away from Hoover Dam, Cathedral Rock, the paint pods and more. Take a ride and explore all the coves, inlets and islands the lake provides within its diverse landscape. Cruise around until you find your own personal cove and enjoy a serene desert picnic that can only be experienced at Lake Mead.

Since 1957, Las Vegas Boat Harbor has been family owned and operated. When you spend your day off or vacation with us, you join our family of customers. Don’t forget to pick up pre-made food from our Harbor House Cafe or stock up on all your boating essentials at the marina store. See you at the lake!

Lake Mead Boat Rental Reservations are made through our mobile app called MarinaPro (just released April 2022). Our new app will streamline your rental reservation, safety video, check out and return process. The MarinaPro app is available to download to your phone using this QR code:

How it works:
  • Download the MarinaPro Application to Mobile Device
  • Create Profile, this includes details that will complete your boat rental agreement.
  • Once your basic details are uploaded, you can create reservations, pick day, sign rental agreements, and add additional drivers.
  • If your plans change, you can cancel your reservation 72 hours or more prior with a click of a button.
  • You will be asked to upload your boating license required to rent a boat prior to your rental.
  • In the 24 hours prior to your reservation, you will be able to watch the required safety video.
  • Upon arrival at the marina, you can show your QR code and get checked out and on the lake in a streamlined process.
  • Upon return after your day on the water, you will easily get checked back in after a great day on the water!

    Patio boats are great for spending time with family and friends. Check out the Hoover Dam, the paint pods and the Boulder Islands. These boat rentals are ideal for picnicking, fishing and sightseeing. Every boat has a large shade canopy for your enjoyment.

    • $225 half day – 1st come / 1st serve

    Get wet and have fun! Speed around and see Lake Mead in style and speed. Bask in the sun as you jet around the lake on a waverunner. Perfect for 1 or 2 persons. You can cover some major sightseeing with a bit of thrill on one of these. (1-hour minimum)

  • Water Sport Equipment Rentals

    • *Water skis, knee boards, wake boards, universal boards, & discs

    Pricing:

    • 1 piece of equipment $45.00 per day
    • 3 pieces of equipment $75.00 for the day 
    • *Only rented with rental boat. 

    Add to your fun with water skis, kneeboards and wakeboards. These are available to rent and will add to your great adventure on Lake Mead.

  • KAYAK RENTALS

    • 1 or 2 persons
    • 500lb weight limit

    Pricing:

    • $25 per hour
    • $65 4-hour rental
    • $100 per day (6-8 hours)
    • $100 security deposit

    Get out on the water in a tandem kayak. Good for 1 person or 2, you can explore the shoreline, cool off on a hot day. Enjoy the peaceful time on your own or take the family and make some fun memories. (1-hour minimum)

  • PADDLEBOARD RENTALS

    • 1 person
    • 220lb weight limit

    Pricing:

    • $25 per hour
    • $60 4-hour rental
    • $90 per day (6-8 hours)
    • $100 security deposit

Terms & Conditions of Motorized Rentals

  • Children riders MUST sit behind driver and child’s feet must sit flat in foot well.
  • All rentals are on condition of weather.
  • Rental hours – begin at 7am, return times vary with the season.
  • Rental pick-up times depend on when you have scheduled your pick-up time between 7am and 11am at the time of making your reservation.
  • Boat / Waverunner Lessee and ALL drivers must be at least 18 years of age
  • All drivers are required to obtain a Boating Safety Education Card or Boating License regardless of age, experience, or state requirements.
  • All drivers must present boating requirements at time of pick-up.
  • US Residents & Canadian Residents – Valid Drivers License Required
  • US Residents & Canadian Residents – Each driver will be required to sign affidavit stating they have met home state requirements.
  • International Residents – Drivers License Required
  • All rentals are restricted to the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead.
  • Deposit required at time of booking; rental rate required at time of rental pick-up.
  • Fuel not included in price of Sport Boats and WaveRunners. Rentals leave with a full tank. At time of return, lessee must pay for amount of fuel used.

  • The first tank of fuel is included with all Pontoon rentals. After first tank, lessee must pay for amount of fuel used.
  • Waverunner maximum weight limit is 500 pounds.

  • $10 cancellation fee on all reservations prior to 48 hours.
  • No cancellation within 48 hours of scheduled reservation.
  • No shows will be charged deposit price as agreed.
  • Rentals must be returned in same condition.
  • Cleaning & service charges may apply.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF KAYAK & STAND-UP PADDLE BOARD RENTALS

  • All rentals are on condition of weather.
  • Rental hours begin at 8:00am, return time varies with the season.
  • Lessee of each unit must be 18 years of age.
  • Minors 17 years of age or younger must have a parent or legal guardian complete rental contract and release waiver.
  • Children will not be allowed to participate without a signature of parent or legal guardian.
  • US residents – Valid automobile drivers License or ID Required
  • International Residents – Valid automobile drivers License Required or ID Required
  • All rentals are restricted to South side of the Boulder Islands to Promontory Point.
  • Life jackets must be worn at all times by participants as required by the National Park Service.
  • Participants must meet the following physical requirements.
  • Participants must be able to swim.
  • Fit into Life Jacket with a maximum chest size of 60 inches.
  • Enough agility to lower yourself into a kayak and hoist yourself out of the water back onto vessel.
  • Hours plus security deposit required at the time of rental.
  • One hour minimum payment required on all kayak and paddle board rentals.
  • Max weight on kayaks 500 pounds per manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Max weight on stand-up paddle boards 220 pounds per manufacturers specifications.
  • No overnight rentals.
  • Rentals must be returned in same condition.
  • Lessee is responsible for any and all damages animals on board may cause.
  • Animals and small children count as a person on board.
  • Cleaning & service charges may apply.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
  • Prices subject to change.

You NEED a Boating Safety Education Card!

Regardless of age, experience, or state requirements; All Drivers are required to obtain a boating safety course online @boatus.org/free. Check for your home states course, if not listed then you can take the Nevada course for boating on Lake Mead.
