Contest Rules and Terms & Conditions

• •  Eligibility:
    • The Boating Lake Mead Social Media Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older.
    • Contestants must have legal permission to submit the photo(s) they enter into the contest.
    • Employees, partners, and immediate family members of Boating Lake Mead and its affiliates are not eligible to participate.
  • How to Enter:
    • Submit your photos using the contest form on this page.
    • By entering the contest, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Rules and Terms & Conditions.

PHOTO GUIDELINES

• • • The photo(s) submitted must be original and taken by the entrant or entrant must have full ownership of any photo entered.
    • Photos should depict scenes related to boating at Lake Mead or the Lake Mead area.
    • Submissions must not contain any explicit, offensive, or copyrighted content.
    • Each entrant can submit multiple photos, but only one photo per entrant will be considered for the prize.
  • Contest Period:
    • The Contest begins on July 22, 2024 at 4pm PST and ends on August 22, 2024 at 11:59pm PST (the “Contest Period”).
    • All entries must be submitted within the Contest Period to be eligible for consideration.
  • Winner Selection:
    • The winner will be notified via email within five days after the Contest Period ends.
    • A panel of judges appointed by Boating Lake Mead will evaluate the photo submissions based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the contest theme.
    • The winning photo will be selected at the sole discretion of the judges, and their decision will be final.
  • Prizes:
    • The Winner will receive $500 in Boating Lake Mead credit valid at Las Vegas Boat Harbor, Lake Mead Marina, Marine Center of Las Vegas, Dry Dock Boat Sales. It can be used towards slip / storage credit, parts or service, or accessories.
    • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
  • Rights and Permissions:
    • By entering the Contest, participants grant Boating Lake Mead and its affiliates the rights to use the submitted photos for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, and marketing materials.
    • Contestants retain ownership and copyright of their photos.
  • General Conditions:
    • Boating Lake Mead reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the Rules and Terms & Conditions.
    • Boating Lake Mead reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.
    • Participants agree to release Boating Lake Mead and its affiliates from any liability arising from their participation in the Contest or acceptance of any prize.
  • By entering the Boating Lake Mead Social Media Photo Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Rules and Terms & Conditions.
